the unbroken is my attempt to comprehend and share how i have survived against incredible odds, from addiction, from the streets, from dangerous situations, from a coma, from death, from life. some part of me, with the help of a whole lot of love from family and angels, has survived. i want to remind you that there is a part of you inside of you that holds on through dark spaces. i want to plant the seed of this knowledge in you so if you ever need remember, you will. ~tara mihaly

in every sky
there is a rainbow in every sky, but we cannot always see it through the clouds and rain.
my choices have not always been choices that work for me. my visions have become clouded by doubt and fear and drugs and poor attitudes, attitudes that went against growth and life for me.
forces stronger than mine alone brought this gift of a rainbow to me and my children one day when i was not doing so well. what gifts life brings!
today i am trying my best to make decisions that support life, that work for me, and for my children. i am blessed to be here, and so are you.
may it always be so. may it always be so for you and yours.
"the soul would have no rainbow if the eyes had no tears." ~minquass nation, native american proverb

Yes, my friend, the angels are always at work to help us tide over all our mental turmoils. We only need to feel their soft presence. Just as the rainbow needs to be seen behind the clouds and rain, the divine forces are to be felt. And, very true indeed- our tears only make the rainbow discernible to us; had life been a bed of roses, it would not have unfolded to us in its varied colors and awed us with its serene beauty. My love to you and your children.
